Flood Wood Care

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Flood Wood Care for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
It is springtime, know what that means?  Summer is around the corner, so it is almost time for barbeque and lazy, hot days by the pool.  But with those lazy days, comes the realization that there have been a bit too many of them and the yard needs some work.

From decks to fences to outdoor furniture it can all use a coat of some some good stain.  Either to freshen it up and change the yard up a bit or to add that finishing touch to an already gorgeous outdoor piece.  The leaders in wood stain is Flood® Wood Care.  Flood have all types of stains and wood cleaners for every type of wood working project you can imagine.  Especially outdoor wood products.  There are stains available in clear, opaque or colored as well as specially formulated for the project at hand be it decking, fencing or hardwood. There is even a special stain for spa floors, to withstand the brutal heat and high humidity.  Flood products are great at tough weather conditions.   Flood® also has something I am not that well educated on unfortunately, paint additives.  These products are added to paint to improve their absorption in the paint surface, further extend the paints life and even improve the paints ability to flow.  This means the paint will show less stroke marks and cover the surface smoothly an easily.  All this without watering down the paint.  Sounds pretty neat!

In our yard, we don't have many lovely wood products, but we do have a fence which was installed in the fall that looks like it could use a coat or two of Flood® flood.com  The only drawback to Flood® products is the name, especially in a flood prone area.  You don't want to tell people about the great flood in your yard without explaining a bit more, especially after the wet couple of weeks we have hard around here.  :P

  4. I've refinished wood floors before and it is a big job but fairly easy to do, especially with the right tools.

  5. Thanks for the clear instructions. Nicely explained as to how to care wood, which is difficult to do.
